SPT Labtech - Territory Sales Manager (Western Germany)

About the role: SPT Labtech is seeking a proactive and organized Territory Sales Manager to oversee sales in the Western region of Germany. The successful candidate will work closely with our commercial team to promote our product range, requiring a strong background in Life Sciences and knowledge of lab automation/liquid handling products.

With over two decades of experience, we provide solutions in liquid handling, sample preparation, and management to accelerate research and impact human health. We value collaboration and trusted relationships with our customers.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Promote and sell SPT Labtech's product lines in genomics, protein crystallization, and drug discovery markets within your territory.
  2. Manage pre-sale activities and support post-sale processes.
  3. Work independently and collaborate with Sales specialists, Support, Product management, and Marketing teams.
  4. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients.
  5. Achieve strategic objectives, manage customer databases, and develop sales strategies.
  6. Build consultative relationships and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
  7. Position SPT solutions effectively within customer workflows, highlighting benefits using various communication tools.
  8. Maintain comprehensive product and service knowledge, and propose integrated solutions.
  9. Utilize support functions and maintain CRM data accurately.
Candidate profile:
  • Based in the Western Germany region with an established network.
  • Experience in capital equipment sales in Life Sciences; familiarity with lab automation is advantageous.
  • Degree in Life Sciences or related field; knowledge in Genomics or Protein Crystallography is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, ideally near a travel hub.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proven business development success and presentation skills.
  • Autonomous, team-oriented, and capable of remote work.
