Drive technical excellence in high-voltage cable systems

As a Junior Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical documentation and design of high-voltage land cable systems. You will work closely with experienced engineers and project teams to ensure the feasibility, accuracy, and quality of our cable solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your engineering skills in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Your responsibility will be to:


• Examine tenders for technical feasibility and make informed decisions
• Perform technical calculations and design complete cable systems
• Prepare technical documentation and overview drawings
• Coordinate the setup of cables, accessories, and services
• Support technical negotiations and customer acceptance tests

The position is based in Cologne, Germany, with occasional travel to customer sites or project meetings.

You are a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You enjoy solving technical challenges and are eager to contribute to meaningful projects that support the green transition. Your strong communication skills and adaptability make you a valuable team member, and you are always ready to learn and grow. You also have:


• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in modeling and sizing cable systems
• Initial exposure to high-voltage or large-scale engineering projects
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365, SAP, COMSOL, MATLAB, and programming knowledge

Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Project and technical documentation tools
