Major challenges in financial reporting are expected due to the migration and redesign of Siemens' ERP landscape to S/4 HANA, as well as the transition of the group reporting solution from SEM BCS to BCS/4 HANA. Therefore, we are seeking support in financial reporting from professionals who can design and implement innovative solutions in these areas.

How you'll make an impact

• You are the key architect for Reporting Solutions and therefore the main driver for envisioning, designing, and implementing financial reporting solutions in the context of the Siemens-wide SAP BCS/ SAP BW/4 applications for group consolidation.
• Your focus is on the front end development mainly with SAP Tools like: Analysis for Office, SAC.
• You act as the main key contact person for the financial department for supporting them to fulfill their requirements regarding external and internal reporting according to HGB and IFRS regulations.
• You lead projects autonomously in the reporting area in strong collaboration with the financial department.
• Contribute as solution architect and as part project lead to a new solution for group consolidation with a focus on the internal and external financial reporting topics (e.g., annual financial report).
• Constantly provide innovations to improve or enhance analytics related solutions and service offerings by using new reporting tools like PowerBI or also utilizing the capabilities of artificial intelligence.
• You manage and coordinate external partners and communicate with various business stakeholders for the successful completion of projects and changes in existing solutions.

Your defining qualities

• Education
  • You have a university degree in IT or a Business insights related field.
• Experience & Skills
  • More than 5 years of experience in leading projects in the reporting area.
  • You have many years of experience in analytics and reporting (SAP BW, SAP BW/4) with a focus on reporting tools (SAP AO, SAC).
  • You have functional knowledge in finance and especially on the closing process (IFRS & HGB and respective reporting and disclosure requirements).
  • Knowledge of HANA Studio (Eclipse) as well as other BI tools are valued.
  • Knowledge of group reporting solutions such as SAP SEM BCS, BCS/4, or Group Reporting, and on SAP S/4 HANA are advantageous.
  • Experience in working in an international team.
