Position: Manager Strategic Intelligence (f/m/d)

In this role, you will shape our strategic direction by providing high-quality analysis of external developments affecting E.ON’s business.

1. Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to top executives, including board members and the CEO, focusing on energy markets, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes.
2. Support key strategic decisions by offering insights that aid in business development, risk management, and corporate communications, influencing corporate positions on critical energy topics.
3. Oversee and challenge external analysis providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality insights for decision-making.
4. Lead complex, high-impact projects, manage external consultants, and develop content aligned with E.ON’s strategic goals.
5. Promote cross-functional collaboration within E.ON to enhance strategic insights and knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile

• Collaborative, results-oriented professional with strong analytical skills.
• Proactive team player with experience in leading and motivating teams.
• University degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Expertise in energy market analysis, competitive intelligence, and energy policy.
• Experience in consultancy or intelligence roles; electricity market modeling skills are a plus.
• Strong professional network within the energy sector.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; fluency in English; German is a plus.
