Join our General Sports and Events Media Network Team in Salzburg, Austria, and lead the charge in connecting with audiences through authentic, impactful content!

Role Overview

In a nutshell: Develop and lead strategic communication tactics to craft engaging stories that resonate with both new and existing consumers. Drive brand attribution through authentic content tied to Sports Marketing Events, collaborating closely with Programming, Social, and Content teams to shape strategies. Ensure effective messaging across media channels to keep Red Bull relevant and impactful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead earned media strategies for events: Execute and support the creation of year-round plans that engage consumers around the events portfolio, translating sports initiatives into compelling media content.
  • Drive event activation and brand growth: Lead activation plans, create differentiated content, and define strategies for each event to maximize impact and brand attribution.
  • Local power – global success: Cultivate relationships with key markets, coach local teams, and support high-potential opportunities to appeal to a global audience. Act as the main contact for local markets and HQ to enhance media impact and content strategy.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in Communications, PR, or Marketing within a media-led company.
  • Strong understanding of the global media landscape, trends, and proven success in brand reach via earned media.
  • Excellent project management, presentation skills, and organizational abilities.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Team-oriented with effective communication skills in a multicultural environment.
Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, the minimum salary for this position is €2,303 gross per month, as per the collective agreement. Our compensation package is market-oriented and above this minimum.
