International financial trading company based in Cyprus seeks an IT Operations Analyst to join their Operations Team.

This position focuses on supporting external client-facing Trading Systems, internal Services, Payment System Integrations, Market Data Feeds, Web Services, and Databases that facilitate clients' Trading Activities. Production Support experience at FX, Securities, or online Casino businesses, and experience with Meta Trader’s MT4 or MT5 systems, are ideal.

The successful candidate will work with leading-edge technologies as part of a team of experienced Administrators and Engineers, impacting the company's success and enhancing customer experience. The company offers visa support and a relocation package.

• Type: Permanent, full-time
• Hours: Flexible within 8-9am to 5-6pm, Monday to Friday

Main Activities and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMs and Developers on Release Management and Deployment
• Maintain and support Virtual & Physical Machine environments
• Support environments & systems across project lifecycle (Dev, Pre-prod, Production)
• Configure and monitor servers and processes for system health and performance
• Provide Level 1 & 2 support for incidents, participate in out-of-hours support rota
• Install, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain VMware ESXi (5.x, 6.x & 7.x)
• Patch Windows Servers using automated tools like WSUS
• Document infrastructure configurations and support procedures

Main Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a senior System Administrator
• Availability for some weekend work and on-call support
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server installation, administration, troubleshooting
• Knowledge of VLANs, Subnetting, Routing, Switching, OSI model
• IT Security knowledge, including Firewall, IPS, WAF
• VMWare Administration experience
• Understanding of datacenter network infrastructure
• Experience managing Windows Server OS, Virtualization, SAN solutions
• Knowledge of Load Balancing, DNS, Content Delivery Networks
• Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix or Nagios
• Good time-management and prioritization skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
