Tasks :
- Daily Revenue & Income Control: Import and reconcile POS data, verify cash counts, and handle regular bank deposits.
- System Reconciliation: Match Micros and FOPOS system figures and review correction/adjustment reports.
- Accounts Receivable: Manage outstanding balances, handle dunning processes, and resolve credit card discrepancies.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, and Events for credit notes, invoice changes, and payment follow-ups.
- Reporting: Create a documentation platform for weekly AR reporting and internal communication.
- Accounts Payable: Review and coordinate incoming invoices, reminders, payment runs, and documentation.
- Deposit Management: Monitor and post advance payments, follow up on missing payments.
- Petty Cash: Verify and post receipts, organize cash transfers, and manage coin/change supply.
- General Accounting Tasks: Communicate with head office, banks, and partners; review travel expenses and insurance matters.
- Documentation & Archiving: Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all financial transactions and reports.
Your profile
You are at the start of your career and eager to gain extensive knowledge quickly, including preopening experience.
- Strong command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication skills for daily interactions with hotels.
- Strong numerical understanding, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel.
- Assertive, eager to learn, quick to take on new tasks, and committed to growth.
- Passion for hospitality and hotel operations understanding.
- Experience in hotel finance (income auditor, accounts payable/receivable clerk) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment with various hotel types from select to full service.
- Experience with hotels ranging from 2-star to 4-star categories.
