Key Account Manager (m/f/x) | Specialist doctors & clinics in Hamburg & Schleswig-Holstein

The holder of this position will have full sales responsibility within the respective sales territory, will be responsibility for promotional field activities, developing and executing referral pathway and management of pulmonologists (specialist doctors and clinics).

What will your tasks as “Key Account Manager (m/f/x)” be?

  • Regular strategic planning and further development of the territory by analyzing and integrating data and using account plans, marketing measures and other sales activities (in person and/or digitally) to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network in the field of pulmonology and other defined target physicians
  • A high level of personal responsibility and self-motivation
  • Solution-orientated approach in a dynamic market
  • Continuous education and high level of clinical knowledge to differentiate yourself from other sales professionals as well as active learning to constantly improve and adapt to new challenges
  • Follows compliance requirements and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with various target groups, both internally and externally.
  • Willingness to participate in national congresses, events and training programs (incl. internal events)

Your requirements as a “Key Account Manager (m/f/x)”?

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a pharmaceutical consultant/pharmaceutical sales representative.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of sales to specialist doctors & clinics (Fachärzte & Kliniken)
  • Network in pulmonology would be a plus
  • Proven successful territory management.
  • High interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both in face to face interactions and via other interaction channels based on HCP channel preference.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data effectively.
  • High learning ability and scientific competence as well as willingness for active learning
  • Proven implementation of the 5 behaviors: Passion, Cooperation, Integrity, Respect and Responsibility
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience working with CRM systems
  • Good language skills in English

Important information:

  • This position reports directly to the Head of Regional Sales North / East
  • This is a non-supervisory position for the time being
  • Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time
  • The position will be a Field Sales role
  • Anticipated start date: 01.10.2024
