About the role

The Associate Director, Brand Management RTE (Ready-to-Eat portfolio) will play a key role in scaling our Ready-to-Eat brands (Factor_ & YouFoodz) across HelloFresh Group’s international markets. This role will develop and execute brand strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and growth in the Ready-to-Eat category, defining target audiences, brand guidelines, and key messaging, and translating these into marketing plans in collaboration with local marketing teams.

The role supports our Factor_ brand across European markets and YouFoodz in Australia, working as a key connector between local teams, Product, Product Marketing, Brand Management, Growth/Channel teams, and Consumer Insights. It is based in Berlin, with frequent travel to Amsterdam.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in shaping brands, driving brand equity, and ensuring a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints to foster growth. They will work in an agile, entrepreneurial manner to support local teams and leverage central resources to accelerate our RTE brands.

The Associate Director reports to the Senior Director, Brand Strategy and Marketing, as part of the International Brand team.

What you’ll do

  • Strategic Brand Development: Collaborate with Sr Director Marketing Factor_EU and local Growth Leads to refine and augment the Factor_ brand positioning for product/market fit in Europe. Define the role of RTE alongside Mealkit brands to grow market share and revenue. Build insights into category trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform brand strategy. Share best practices across markets.
  • Brand Identity and Messaging: Oversee evolution of visual identity, packaging, messaging, and tone of voice for EU markets in partnership with Creative and N.Am teams. Ensure brand consistency across channels and campaigns. Develop key messaging, claims, and proof points in collaboration with Product Marketing.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Support local teams in delivering annual marketing plans across channels, briefing assets to creative teams and agencies. Define media strategies to maximize efficiency and performance.
  • Brand Performance & Brand Equity Measurement: Monitor brand health metrics and competitive positioning. Identify opportunities for product innovation or communication based on performance data.
  • Matrix Operating Model: Develop best practices for efficient marketing operations. Lead agile coordination between teams, leveraging central expertise while maintaining entrepreneurial flexibility.

What you’ll bring

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
