Consultant, SAP ABAP Fiori/UI5 Developer

POSITION SUMMARY

The ABAP Senior Consultant will be responsible for developing, debugging, and providing operational support for complex solutions in our customers' SAP ERP Systems. The consultant will work in a team of consultants providing services including incident and change handling, extending to projects and project support. The consultant will be an integral part of innovation projects. Additionally, he or she will be responsible for coordinating the activities of consultants and junior consultants and ensuring the delivery quality for their area of responsibility.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Support functional specification creation
2. Derive architecture and details for technical specifications
3. Implement Processes, User Exits, Workflows, reports, and solution extensions according to specifications and in accordance with relevant development and architecture guidelines
4. Detailed debugging of implemented solutions and processes
5. Coordinate activities of consultants and junior consultants in their area of responsibility
6. Act as quality gatekeeper for delivery in their area of responsibility
7. Actively participate in innovation projects and ensure transition to factory

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

1. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software design, or a related field with a strong development background
2. Experience (5+ years) in at least three of: ABAP development, ABAP OO, JAVA, JAVA/ABAP Webdynpro, SAP FIORI UI5, OData service
3. Experience (5+ years) in: SAPscript, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills to build strong internal/external working relationships
5. Flexible and thrive in an environment with frequent and competing deadlines, multiple tasks, and high-performance expectations
6. Experience working with IT service management processes, preferably based on the ITIL framework
7. Experience in at least 3 ERP modules
8. Experience in ERP on HANA, S/4 HANA, HANA native is a bonus

LANGUAGES

1. Fluent English language skills required (B2 Minimum)
2. German language is not mandatory, but it is a plus
