Jobbeschreibung

Overview of the Role :

Drive the sales of Quectel Smart Module / SoC (System-on-Chip) Portfolio across the EMEA region (web).

Have a general understanding of Android and Linux-based systems, and the benefits of the SoC approach.

Be familiar with major SoC chip and module solutions providers such as Qualcomm, NXP, TI, Ambarella, and MTK.

Display experience and market know-how across relevant verticals like edge computing, in-car entertainment systems, PDAs and tablets, robotics and smart factories, smartphones, smart POS, smart home gateways, vending machines, video streaming, etc.

Have the ability to identify and develop new verticals and key accounts within those verticals, leading the customer acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Work closely with the Quectel Wireless Solutions Sales Team to understand customer requirements and build a compelling connectivity value proposition.
  2. Identify and acquire new IoT connectivity and services sales, selling directly to Quectel’s Wireless Solutions customers.
  3. Develop a good understanding of customer needs, solutions, and vertical markets.
  4. Exceed quarterly and annual targets through accurate forecasting and financial planning.
  5. Develop pipeline through prospecting, cross-selling with the Wireless Solutions Sales Team, and industry events.
  6. Align with the Country/Regional Sales Leadership.
  7. Own and manage customer relationships and interactions through all stages of the sales cycle, collaborating with the Bid and Commercial Team on formal customer responses.
  8. Utilize CRM tools to manage customer contacts, pipeline, and opportunities.

Experience :

  1. 3-7 years of work experience with an in-depth understanding of the IoT landscape, platforms, competitors, and overall value chain.
  2. A proven track record of achieving business development sales targets in an overlay role.
  3. Proven stakeholder management experience.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in English.
  5. Ability to develop joint strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market share.
  6. Ability to translate customer requirements into strategic proposals.
