What you’ll do

  • Work closely with our engineering and AIS teams to develop strategies for data acquisition from vessel’s VDRs and other data silos, involving collection, processing, and transmission of signals to track vessel movements and performance.
  • Engage in operational details with a hands-on approach, demonstrate excellent client-facing skills, and develop scalable strategies for onboarding over 100 vessels per month.
  • Act as the main contact for our connectivity partners located in Greece and other countries.

Your missions

  • Build strategic partnerships with the shipping hardware industry, including VDR makers and IoT providers.
  • Create and validate a clear onboarding process for client vessels.
  • Handle cybersecurity concerns in collaboration with our IT team, including seeking necessary certifications (ISO, class approvals).
  • Educate colleagues on vessel hardware and connectivity.
  • Map the ecosystem of companies in vessel connectivity.
  • Manage and prioritize the requirements backlog to align with business needs.
  • Assess competition products and trends to stay competitive.
  • Follow product governance best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to promote product adoption.
  • Continuously learn and share knowledge.

Preferred experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in vessel bridge connectivity (mandatory).
  • Experience deploying hardware and/or software aboard vessels.
  • Experience working closely with the shipping industry, particularly shipowners.
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and multitask.
  • Team player, quick learner, capable of working under short deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (native or bilingual).

  • Initial visio interview with our Talent Manager — 30 minutes.
  • Interview with Antoine (Director) — 30 minutes.
  • Interview with Shruti and Darren (Product and Engineering Directors) — 1 hour.
  • Meet the team — 30 minutes each with Bettina, Panagiotis G., and others.
  • Meet Jean (co-founder, CVO) — 15 minutes.
  • Offer discussion if all previous steps are successful, with Antoine.
