Your Tasks
- Further develop the existing codebase with new features and project refinement in collaboration with the team.
- Write and maintain programs and functions for automotive solar power electronics, including high voltage devices.
- Refine and innovate control models and algorithms into microcontroller code.
- Debug programs within development frameworks and directly on hardware.
- Program and manage common automotive communications such as CAN and derivatives.
- Follow coding standards including unit testing, git version control, modular and reusable code.
- Fully document all engineering designs and processes.
- Support functional safety and cybersecurity topics.
- Perform other tasks aligned with your skills that contribute to company goals, reflecting the startup environment's responsibilities.
Our Requirements
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- Expertise in writing C/C++ for microcontrollers in safety-critical electronics.
- Experience in adapting control algorithms into performant, real-time code.
- Strong understanding of electronics schematics, IC functions, and peripheral management.
- Good knowledge of revision control and team communication.
- Experience with Microchip dsPIC33 microcontroller is a strong plus.
- Experience with MathWorks Simulink/Stateflow and code generation for automotive applications is advantageous.
- Fluent English skills are required as this is the company language.
