Risk Consultant (m/f/d)

• Outcome Testing: Perform outcome testings (Complaints, Sales, Customer in Financial Difficulties, Responsible Lending, etc.) and oversee activities performed by the 1st Line of Defence (LoD).
• Operational Risk Activities: Support and facilitate ongoing operational risk activities from a 2nd LoD perspective.
• Risk Management Information: Assist in creating conduct (including product) and operational risk management reports.
• Business Processes: Write and review business processes aligned with risk management activities.
• Risk Management Support: Provide support for all risk management-related activities, including audits.
• Thematic Reviews: Prepare thematic reviews on conduct principles and operational risk policies and procedures.
• Mystery Shopping: Participate in mystery shopping cases in consultation with 2nd LoD conduct colleagues.
• Reporting and Meetings: Assist in preparing reports and papers for meetings/committees, such as CRAMs, ORAMs, and product management meetings, in collaboration with senior risk managers.
• Standard Reporting: Consolidate information into standard reports.
• Daily Support: Support the Senior Risk Manager and the conduct and operational risk management teams.
• Monitoring Controls: Monitor ongoing controls, test plans, action plans, and events within the RCSA system as required.

Requirements:

• Several years of relevant banking experience.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written German; understanding of English is a prerequisite.
• Ability to promote a risk-aware mindset within the organization and serve as a role model.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues within LB GmbH.
• Stakeholder management skills: Organize and conduct regular meetings with 1st and 2nd stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the Three Lines of Defence Model within LB GmbH.
