As part of a dynamic team, you will develop algorithms to process and analyze 2D and 3D data, utilizing computer vision, machine learning, and optimization techniques. You will scale these algorithms for application-specific problems, collaborate with business units to optimize system design, and explore new technical developments to enhance our products and expand into new domains. Your role includes supporting early development phases and guiding technology adoption and integration within our teams. You have:

  • A university degree and proven expertise in computer vision, machine learning, or mathematical image processing
  • A PhD and publication record in venues like ECCV, ICCV, CVPR (a plus)
  • Deep understanding of computer vision and strong skills in mathematical modeling, with knowledge of the latest technical advances
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++
  • The vision and hands-on mindset to translate ideas into ZEISS products
