Are you ready to drive procurement excellence and make an impact in a dynamic, international environment? As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for executing procurement initiatives within indirect purchasing in Germany, aligning with global strategies while managing local tactical sourcing activities. You will also support regional and international Category Management projects, ensuring efficiency and value creation across the procurement lifecycle.

Your Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Tactical Procurement

• Develop and implement strategies in the operational and tactical procurement environment.
• Support the development and execution of Category Strategies by providing local market insights, collaborating with stakeholders, and aligning with global procurement objectives.
• Ensure the successful implementation of procurement strategies within Germany.
  
  
  

Source-to-Contract Management

• Clarify procurement requirements, align specifications with requestors, and ensure compliance with category strategies.
• Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, including tenders (RFX), supplier negotiations, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.
• Manage contract drafting, negotiation, and finalization in close collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
• Oversee contract lifecycles, ensuring timely renewals and updates.
• Maintain and manage e-commerce catalogs for procurement efficiency.
  
  
  

Performance & Supplier Management

• Ensure the achievement of procurement KPIs, including cost savings and efficiency targets.
• Track and report on procurement activities and progress.
• Qualify, assess, and evaluate supplier performance, developing improvement plans where necessary.
• Drive supplier relationship management, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Support purchasing administrators in implementing negotiated agreements into purchase orders.
• Assist with internal controls and compliance processes.
  
  
  

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Administration or related field or apprenticeship + work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end procurement process (Plan-to-Strategy, Source-to-Contract, Purchase-to-Pay).
• Proven expertise in contract negotiations and contract management.
• Solid understanding of the legal and regulatory procurement landscape in Germany.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP ERP (SAP MM); knowledge of SAP Ariba is a plus.
• Fluent English and good German skills (minimum B2 level).
