Proposal / Tendering Engineer - Permanent position, €70,000 - 95,000 plus fantastic benefits

This company is growing rapidly and is expected to double in size within the next 18 months.

Language requirement: C1 German or native German speaker.

General Accountabilities

• Review and understand tender documents, including technical specifications, drawings, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with suppliers to provide the optimal tender on time and within the client's budget.
• Evaluate value engineering or cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and key differentiators in the bid process.
• Understand the commercial fundamentals of a project.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and commercial teams to prepare tender documents and value propositions.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and sub-consultants on technical and commercial issues during tender preparation.
• Engage with the supply chain to establish cost-effective and innovative solutions, reviewing supplier offerings for technical compliance.
• Lead tender handover meetings.
• Manage client interface during and after the tender process, including clarifications.
• Compile and assess technical submittals and tender submissions.
