Sales Manager (m/f/d) Animal Nutrition - DACH countries (South Germany/Switzerland/Austria)

Area of Focus: Sales, Customer Service & Origination

Your Challenge: ADM has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to grow our animal nutrition business in the DACH region. This key role involves maintaining and expanding our footprint by offering a broad range of products, including Feed Additives, ingredients, and Premix. The position is based in Germany and reports to the Vice President Sales Europe in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize the potential of our animal nutrition business in the DACH region.
  • Manage technical sales and key accounts.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify new business and partnership opportunities.
  • Understand our product portfolio.
  • Create and execute sales plans and budgets based on market strategies.
  • Develop a 3-5 year Business Plan for the region.
  • Provide monthly sales reporting, analytics, and insights.
  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to develop customer concepts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior.
  • Implement innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with technical support, logistics, product management, marketing, and controlling departments.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's & Master's degree in Agriculture, Agro Engineering, Veterinary Science, or Business.
  • Knowledge of animal nutrition and technical applications.
  • At least 10 years of experience in B2B food, dairy, or ingredients sectors.
  • Strong organizational and autonomous working skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a (virtual) team environment.
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, and resilience under pressure.
  • Experience in a matrix, cross-cultural organization.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
  • Excellent English and German language skills.
