Job Summary:

Program manager for squeak and rattle analysis

What You Will Do:

• Conduct extensive market research and develop a 3 Horizon product roadmap addressing current needs as well as anticipating future trends to solvesqueak, rattle and other issues related to the perceived quality of a product. Utilize data science to find efficient and innovative ways of addressing these phenomena. Extend the solutions applicability to a wide range of market outside Automotive. Proactively participate and act as a global ambassador in Squeak and Rattle forums such as SRCA (Squeak and Rattle Competence Arena), consortiums and best practice groups.
• Stay on top of internal Product Activities and in collaboration with Altair Product Managers work toward reducing silos and unifying efforts. Create software specifications, identify and solve technical and/or software issues, oversee and guide solution implementation, monitor the overall quality, provide sufficient documentation.
• Release and promote solutions to the market, including roll-out plans, webinars, trainings, support, present at conferences. Transfer knowledge to our geographically distributed Altair teams to increase overall awareness of the existing and new solutions.
• Participate in related service projects, support and direct cross functional project teams during execution. Gather and provide project cost estimates, prepare proposals and estimates for a timely delivery in collaboration with the local Altair offices.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or other relevant field
• 5+ years’ experience of solution implementation experience using CAE analysis software
• Basic programming skill in TCL and familiarity with Altair product suite is a plus

Preferred:

• Experience in analysing market trends and demonstration of successful product rollouts, sale and support of new, game-changing products
• Demonstrated ability to work across functional and geographical regions
• Experience within the various industries outside of Automotive are of advantage.
• Ability to work individually and in a team, productively collaborate with others, listen and relate to ideas proposed by others
• Infectious energy, innovative thinking and excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to probe, research, and learn independently; experienced in providing technical troubleshooting in second/third line support situations, sometimes remotely; Confident in providing expertise in complex technical situations
• Sound organizing capabilities and strong self-starter attributes
• Excellent inter-personal, verbal, and presentation skills; Ability to write clearly and meaningfully in response to requests
• Fluent in the English language in both speech and writing
• Willing to travel internationally up to - 35%
