Responsibilities
- Capture regional customer requirements and engage with GBE Product Managers to best position the solution to meet customer needs.
- Drive effective regional NPI acceleration and commercialization.
- New Product Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute strategies for new product introductions aligned with company objectives and market needs.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and define product requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to develop product roadmaps and timelines.
- Project Management and Execution:
- Lead cross-functional teams during the NPI process, ensuring alignment on milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage project plans, budgets, and resources to support product launches.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for on-time delivery and quality.
- Go-to-Market Strategy and Commercialization:
- Ensure successful product launches in the region.
- Partner with marketing and sales to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate product launch activities, including sales training and customer education.
- Monitor market reception and feedback to optimize positioning and messaging.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication:
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding NPI initiatives.
- Communicate project updates and performance metrics to leadership.
- Foster collaboration across departments for strategic alignment.
- Continuous Improvement and Analysis:
- Conduct post-launch reviews to evaluate success against KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, product enhancements, and cost savings.
- Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements related to NPI.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years in product management or related roles, focusing on NPI.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of NPI processes and best practices.
- Proven success in launching new products or services.
- Strong project management, market analysis, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration.
- Ability to develop business case financials and create offering roadmaps.
- Proficiency in VOC, OVOC, and customer co-creation.
- Fluent in German and English.
