Job Description:
IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

Gentherm Medical is seeking an innovative Financial Analyst capable of managing daily responsibilities, raising issues, questioning decisions, and challenging leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance cash flow, productivity, and profitability. The role involves preparing accurate financial reports for the business unit and aligning local processes with the overall strategy of the Medical division. This position is vital as it provides analytics to support decision-making.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform daily accounting activities.
  • Manage cash related to invoicing, receivables, and vendor payments.
  • Lead the monthly closing process in coordination with tax consultants.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
  • Handle finance deliverables such as month-end close and planning/budget activities for the local and global Medical business.
  • Ensure data integrity with LucaNet system interface.
  • Serve as backup for payroll and administrative requests.
  • Resolve complex or unusual business problems using advanced analytical skills and judgment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
  • At least 5 years of financial and accounting experience supporting manufacturing operations and distribution.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong report writing and data analytics skills.
  • Process-oriented with initiative to streamline operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • CPA certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Certified Accountant.
  • Six Sigma certification and Lean foundation knowledge.
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision, LucaNet, Blackline, and Business Objects systems.
