Position Overview

The Regional Sales Manager position has been created to support Oracle's significant investment in the Communications space, particularly in the DACH region.

What You’ll Do
  • Sell Oracle Communications Applications products in the DACH region, including our cloud-native billing and rating solution and our OSS solution, directly or via partners.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas for licenses and first-year maintenance.
  • Prospect and increase awareness of Oracle Communications’ products in the DACH region, building a sustainable pipeline.
  • Develop existing customer relationships and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions in partnership with other Oracle lines of business.
  • Manage and close sales opportunities through strategic planning and execution.
  • Maintain knowledge of Oracle Communications products, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Lead the development and presentation of value propositions and negotiate contracts.
  • Identify strategic alignments with third-party influencers.
What You’ll Bring
  • Successful sales track record in selling applications in the DACH telecom market, with DTAG experience considered a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the DACH market, its drivers, and company strategies.
  • Established relationships at various levels within customer organizations.
  • Excellent sales/business acumen and ability to influence cross-line opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build a pipeline and close sales independently.
  • At least 7 years of experience selling enterprise application software in the BSS/OSS domain.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
