The HSE Manager has the following responsibilities:
- To ensure that all HSE activities at project level are carried out in accordance with German applicable laws and regulations, client requirements, and company Environmental and Safety Standards, including those for suppliers/subcontractors.
- To ensure HSE coordination and compliance with the company policy procedures, and to coordinate with the site team to implement all necessary actions for a proper HSE culture and methodology implementation.
- To assist the Projects team in dealing with subcontractors on all HSE-related issues.
- To assist in the Risk Management process (e.g., HAZID) and Permit To Work system.
- To facilitate accident and incident investigations, analyze statistics, identify trends, and suggest improvement plans at both project and company levels.
- To conduct HSE audits, organize inspections and walkthroughs related to ISO 45001 and 14001 standards, as well as German legal compliance.
- To develop and deliver HSE training programs and promote a safety behavioral culture within the organization and among suppliers and subcontractors.
- To oversee the development, planning, implementation, updating, review, and auditing of the Company HSE Management System, in accordance with headquarters guidelines.
- To lead the planning, collection, management, and analysis of HSE indicators.
- To ensure proper waste management, including segregation, collection, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in German and English.
- Knowledge of German HSE legislation relevant to civil onshore works.
- Minimum of 7 years of HSE management experience within an EPCI environment, including onshore and offshore construction, installation activities, and vessel operations.
- Self-dependent work behavior and flexibility.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
- Experience in dealing with subcontractors.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Conditions:
Local presence on-site in northern Germany is mandatory during the execution/construction phase.
