We distribute our products through both wholesale—working with major specialty and multi-brand retailers—and retail, via our branded corners in department stores.
In practical terms, this means that if you buy children's apparel (ages 0-7 for Nike, 0-16 for Levi’s, Converse, and Jordan), whether in a physical store or online, in the Netherlands, the UK, Italy, or anywhere else in Europe, the product you're holding has come through us —even if you purchased it in an official Nike or Levi’s store!
We are currently looking for a Sales Manager in Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Dimension :
- Manage the relationship with Intersport Germany & Austria offices + other Sporting goods retailers.
- Define the commercial strategy with Intersport and Sport 2000 across Germany and Austria (might be extended to various European subsidiaries).
- Interact and align with the local NIKE counterparts to ensure a seamless experience for both consumers and accounts.
- Create and execute sales strategies and plans to meet financial targets and drive revenue growth for our assigned account.
Commercial Dimension :
- Responsible for the commercialization of our brands in our central region.
- Participate in the creation of product offers.
- Present product offers during key account meetings, negotiate commercial terms with central buying groups, conduct field visits, and drive business development.
- Communicate daily with buyers regarding preview and sell-in meetings, order book management, shipping performance, market opportunities, and overall business.
- Achieve seasonal sales goals.
- Grow sales within existing relationships and generate additional revenue and profit through product categories, age groups, etc.
- Create and regularly monitor reports (account sell-in, shipping, orders, sell-through, etc.).
- Travel within the region and to our offices.
Managerial Dimension :
- Coordinate and drive discussion across different department (marketing, finance, CS and supply) and ensuring alignment with the commercial strategy.
- Organize regular meetings to communicate operational objectives and evaluation criteria.
- Foster a positive and results-driven team environment.
Technical Dimension :
- Oversee order tracking and integration into the Sales Force system.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within Intersport Germany.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in sales tools such as Sales Force and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
