Role Description – Information Technology Specialist (Remote, Hybrid | Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Venlo)

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Information Technology Specialist, based in Düsseldorf, with some flexibility to work from home. The role focuses on network security, system administration, technical support, and infrastructure optimisation, ensuring our clients' systems are secure, compliant, and always operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and secure internal and client-facing networks (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS)
• Implement security protocols in line with ISO 27001 and GDPR requirements
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS), including IAM, CloudWatch, and EC2
• Troubleshoot system issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
• Provide end-user support and IT service documentation
• Automate repetitive tasks and monitor infrastructure health using scripts and dashboards
  

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in IT support, systems operations, and cybersecurity
• CCNA and CompTIA Security+ certified; CISSP in progress
• Skilled in AWS cloud tools, Bash/Python scripting, and ticketing systems
• Strong communication skills in English (fluent) and German (B1)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in agile, startup-paced teams
