Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Applications Engineer to join our Dimensional Metrology Team in Europe. The candidate should have a background in automotive manufacturing, automation, and quality control, with contacts in automotive OEMs. Responsibilities include providing technical support, understanding customer needs, and ensuring successful implementation of our solutions. The role is based in a home office in Europe, initially focusing on Germany and the DACH region, with up to 50% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to our products.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams to meet customer needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training.
• Maintain strong customer relationships.

Implementation and Integration:

• Assist with product implementation and integration.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Support during installation and deployment.

Product Development and Feedback:

• Provide customer feedback for product improvements.
• Participate in product testing and development.
• Stay updated on industry trends.
• Identify process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years in technical support or applications engineering.
• Proficiency in English and German.
• Strong knowledge of Dimensional Metrology, especially in automotive manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to travel.

Assets:

• Experience with PolyWorks, Python, Minitab, CAD software.
• Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, or Consumer Goods manufacturing.
• Additional languages like Polish, Spanish, Italian.
