Your job

What you do

Your daily responsibilities in Editorial Content will include research (content database management) and editorial work, detailed as follows:

• Desktop research (secondary data sources) on the India region, focusing on finance and hospitality sectors, creating online statistical content.
• Building understanding of valid data sources and potential data partners in the region and industries.
• Generating research topics for database development, in close communication with the team lead and fellow editors.
• Managing SEO-optimized web content via Statista’s Content Management System (CMS), monitoring usage, and keeping the database up to date.

Editorial tasks

• Editing, publishing, and contextualizing statistical information in English on statista.com, following editorial style and documentation standards.
• Creating and maintaining editorial products, including statistics, reports, and topic pages.

Your skills

• Successful completion of undergraduate studies.
• Exceptional written and spoken English skills; editorial experience in English is a plus. (Please send a cover letter in English.)
• Knowledge of one or more Indian languages.
• General knowledge of finance and hospitality topics.
• Ability to describe complex data clearly and concisely.
• Structured, organized, and independent working style with attention to detail and quality.
