The role

The Manager of Commercial Excellence & Sales Force Effectiveness plays a crucial role in enhancing Salesforce Effectiveness (SFE) by optimizing territory structures, targeting strategies, and the efficient use of CRM and digital platforms. You will ensure that the field force has access to the necessary data to operate effectively. Main responsibilities include monitoring sales goals, supporting incentive scheme design, CRM administration, and leading operational improvements.

Accountabilities

Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
  • Manage sales incentives and awards
  • Manage sales targeting, modeling, and visualization
  • Oversee territory agreements and geographical visualization
  • Research third-party data for customer targeting
  • Improve processes in segmentation, targeting, profiling, reporting, and governance
  • Facilitate customer targeting and profiling workshops
Manage the CRM system (YSURA)
  • Administer CRM modules and areas
  • Create and execute CRM roadmap to meet sales needs
  • Represent German team needs for regional prioritization
  • Identify enhancements and translate end-user needs into solutions
  • Train sales staff on CRM usage
Reporting and Analytics
  • Oversee SFE reporting and analytics
  • Transform data into insights, define KPIs
  • Utilize BI tools (e.g., Power BI) for analysis
  • Provide market insights and KPI reports
  • Develop dashboards for leadership

You will report to the Business Operations Manager.

Requirements
  • University degree in Business, Science, IT, or related field
  • 4+ years in Business Analytics, CRM management, training, and project management
  • 3+ years experience in the German healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
  • Expertise in CRM systems from strategy to implementation
  • Experience working with vendors and teams on CRM projects
