The Office Manager is the first point of contact for all families, teachers, pupils, suppliers, visitors, and callers. The Office Manager not only represents St. Georges School and its philosophy but also plays an active role in school life. The role requires a highly proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The right person will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, enjoy providing creative solutions, and thrive in a growing and fast-changing environment.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the first and primary point of contact for families, prospective families, suppliers, teachers, and pupils in person, via email, and on the phone.
  2. Represent St. Georges School and promote its philosophy and values.
  3. Schedule meetings and school tours, liaising with stakeholders across the school such as Admissions, Facilities, and Academic Staff.
  4. Manage daily pupil registration and ensure a safe school environment.
  5. Handle school accidents and related documentation.
  6. Assist with event and school trip planning.
  7. Translate documents between English and German (English-German / German-English).
Your Profile
  1. Passionate about service excellence and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  2. Interested in education.
  3. Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
  5. Organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Familiar with MS Office tools.
  7. Team player who also takes responsibility for individual tasks.
  8. Holds an apprenticeship or education as European Secretary, Office Manager, Translator, or Professional Hotel Employee.
