Senior Food Supplement Development Manager – Global Markets (all genders)

Your role

As a Senior Food Supplement Development Manager, you will act as an internal "mini-entrepreneur" within our Product Development Team, taking full, 360-degree ownership of the Food/Dietary Supplements category. This involves managing the entire process from initial concept to final product launch across national and global markets. This multifaceted role requires a unique blend of scientific expertise, market insight, project management, and regulatory knowledge across various international markets. Working closely with our Founder and CPO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the vision for our dietary supplements.

• Analyze market reports and consumer trends, including global health and wellness trends, new ingredients, and competitor products to inform product strategy.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, and Content teams to discuss project timelines, market entry and product launch strategies, as well as product positioning for different markets.
• Partner with our teams to develop new supplement formulations or enhance existing ones, ensuring they meet specific nutritional needs.
• Stay up-to-date with Regulatory Affairs to navigate the complex regulatory environments of various countries.
• Work with ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, and the internal Procurement and Purchasing teams to ensure the quality and availability of raw materials.
• Track progress against key milestones and adjust project plans as necessary to maintain momentum and ensure successful outcomes.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, e.g., Nutrition Science, Chemistry, Food Science.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven hands-on experience in end-to-end product development of food supplements, dietary supplements, or holistic pharmaceutical supplements.
• Extensive experience in market analysis and research to identify global health trends, as well as new ingredients and raw materials.
• Strong project management skills to oversee project progress, with experience discussing market entry strategies and product positioning for various markets.
• Solid experience working closely with Product Developers on new supplement formulations, with a deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks.
• Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams within a dynamic, international company, ideally in the DTC sector.
