The SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences is a private, state-recognized and accredited university with locations in Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a "Professor for UX Design and Content Creation” in half-time (50%) and within the framework of a permanent employment contract as of April 1, . The position can be combined with the 50% position also vacant for Leipzig in the same field. In this case, however, travelling between Berlin and Leipzig is essential.

Your duties:

• Representation of the competence field UX Design and Content Creation at the Leipzig location
  
• Focus on UX design, user interface design / media production in teaching and research, both in basic and advanced concepts
  
• Acquisition of third-party funding through research and transfer activities
  
• Active participation in the development and expansion of existing and new degree programs
  
• Practice-oriented teaching, mainly in English and in digital formats (e-learning, blended learning)
  
• Taking on research and development activities
  
• Active and interdisciplinary participation in the academic self-administration of the university

Your profile:

• A university degree in a relevant field is preferred, e.g. UI / UX design or interaction design, media informatics, media design, motion design
  
• Knowledge of programming / scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, C# (e.g. for Unity or Unreal)
  
• Advanced knowledge of audio, video and MR production
  
• Focus on the conception, design and implementation of innovative design and interaction solutions in various application areas
  
• Answers to development and design questions in the new media environment with forward-looking concepts, e.g. in the field of AI, social media and society
  
• Advanced knowledge in the development and application of human-centered design in innovation generation is desirable
  
• Above-average professional and scientific qualifications in the media sector
  
• Very good command of English and the ability and willingness to teach courses in English
  
• Enthusiasm for passing on your practical experience in teaching and applied research to our students as a future junior researcher
  
• Strong communication, cooperation and teamwork skills
