The role

  1. Consulting: Assist customers in understanding their security and business issues, defining clear requirements and priorities, and provide cross-functional support throughout the sales process, from business development to sales execution.
  2. Deal Shaping: Develop and present a technical value proposition that fulfills the customer's specific requirements and highlights SoftwareOne's unique selling proposition.
  3. Market Insight: Analyze the market and competition to develop the best solution strategy.
  4. Developing solutions: Develop architectural and service solutions that are competitive, technically feasible, and deliverable within time and budget constraints, as well as proposals for innovative solutions and services that meet customer requirements.
  5. Proposal presentation: Present all types of proposals from our portfolio with a complete technical overview, including completed projects and use cases.
  6. Solution Design Management: Take responsibility for technical responses to clients in the form of presentations, proposals, and RFPs, utilizing expertise from across the business as required.
  7. Safety and Services Proposals: Write compelling security and service-based proposals for clients, collaborate with proposal teams on RFI/RFP responses, and assist account executives in the development of related commercials.
  8. Solution Presentation: Present proposed solutions to the customer to illustrate the benefits and value of the solution and/or service.
  9. Vendor Relationships: Utilize key vendor relationships to ensure solutions can be tailored from all available product and service providers.

What we need to see from you

Technology:

Experience with the following technology, managed services, and frameworks will be highly beneficial:

  • Managed Service: Experience in creating and defining target operating models
  • Legacy Environments on Prem cloud solutions and virtualization technologies
  • Multi Cloud, AWS, AZURE, and GCP,
  • Middleware Concept, Database, Application and Web-server
  • Cloud Security
  • Cloud Managed Platforms, Hybrid Cloud Management, CI/CD Automation
  • IT Management Tools: Full scope of Service & Systems Management for IT services delivery
  • Security Frameworks - Cyber Essentials, NIST, CIS Critical Security Controls

Consulting:

  • Experience in communicating with internal/external stakeholders with the ability to lead client meetings from a technical design perspective to drive an appropriate design. The ability to influence throughout the sales lifecycle and enable delivery of a compliant solution.
  • Clear communication with Professional Services & Managed Services Teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
  • Experience as an Enterprise IT Architect, providing technical consultancy in the design and implementation of multi-vendor services and architectures.
  • Successful track record and experience in bidding on complex multi-service line tenders.
  • Confirmed integrity bid that meets the customers’ requirements and assistance in sales in technical qualification during the qualifying process.
  • Ability to build a trusted advisory relationship/partnership with our customers and provide them with advice and guidance on their security challenges.
  • Good negotiation skills, proven by your commercial experience.

Methods:

  • Architecture Management, Enterprise Architecture, Project management, TOGAF, ITIL, UMF, TSD, SDDM, and others.
  • Client engagement related experience, method-based complex solution design (including technical environment, operational environment and setup, service management setup, design thinking, technical team leadership).
  • Creating designing Statements of Work, Effort estimation, technical quality assurance, contract negotiation, delivery handover, project setups.
  • Experience in development of technical staff in IT Architect roles and establishment of Architecture Management.
