The Team Integrated Risk Controlling is part of the global Risk Controlling and Pricing department, serving as the subject matter expert for Siemens Financial Services, especially Siemens Bank, on methods, processes, and frameworks for integrated risk controlling and bank management. Our team manages Siemens Bank’s internal capital adequacy assessment, risk inventory, risk strategy, and controls for non-financial risks and new product approval processes.

We are seeking a Senior Associate Risk Controller (f/m/d) – Integrated Risk Controlling based in Munich. As a team member, you will enjoy:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and advancing risk reporting and internal capital adequacy assessments at Siemens Bank GmbH
  • Measuring and analyzing risk profiles, conducting evaluations, and maintaining risk inventory
  • Leading operational risk management efforts, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
  • Driving the New Product Approval Process with thorough risk assessments
  • Promoting a strong risk culture and embedding risk management practices
  • Developing risk strategies, frameworks, and policies aligned with business and regulatory standards
  • Presenting risk reports and analyses to senior management
  • Providing internal training on regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Candidate requirements include:

  • At least 3 years of experience in banking, auditing, or consulting
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis and risk modeling
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL)
  • Knowledge of risk control frameworks and operational risk management methodologies
  • Experience with regulatory reporting and ESG risk integration is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex risk concepts
  • Intercultural experience is welcome
