Responsibilities:

1. Build, maintain, and expand long-term relationships with the German Federal Armed Forces, focusing on the BMVg, PlgABw, and the German Navy.
2. Acquire contracts and projects, focusing on the German Navy; proactively identify customer needs in the naval forces sector and undertake necessary Business Development Management activities.
3. Participate actively and committedly in networks of relevant associations and institutions (e.g., BDI, BDLi, BDSV, Bundeswehr, NATO).
4. Inform and advise sales management on strategic and operational issues.
5. Monitor project performance, meet milestones, and initiate corrective actions for large-scale projects with customer relevance.
6. Develop a comprehensive network within various business and functional areas of Rheinmetall, offering excellent national and international career prospects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Military background as a Marine officer (m/w/d) with operational experience in the Navy.
• Successfully completed studies, ideally with a focus on economics or engineering sciences.
• Confident in dealing with contacts at military and civilian leadership levels.
• Extensive knowledge of the structures and working methods in Bundeswehr procurement is advantageous.
• Excellent German skills and business-fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
• High willingness to travel within Germany.
• Eligibility for security clearance by the BMWi.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high organizational and implementation capabilities, and a strong customer orientation.
