We are looking for a skilled professional to join the team as our Financial Controller for Germany and the Netherlands.
What you will be doing :
- Strengthening Financial Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls in Germany and the Netherlands to minimize write-offs, enhance cost management, and safeguard revenue.
- Ensuring Accuracy & Compliance: Uphold group accounting standards and policies, ensuring all financial records are precise and compliant.
- Owning Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct monthly reconciliations, proactively resolve issues, and maintain financial integrity.
- Managing Financial Close: Guarantee the timely closure of the Trial Balance, meeting deadlines with precision (Day 4 close).
- Regulatory & Audit Support: Assist in regulatory reporting and collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth processes.
- Driving Efficiency: Work closely with other finance teams to streamline workflows and enhance departmental efficiency.
- Delivering Insightful Reporting: Produce accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports that are timely and insightful for decision-making.
- Providing Actionable Analysis: Generate ad hoc reports that present data and offer clear recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

- Education: Completed degree in business administration or economics.
- Work experience: Several years of controlling experience, preferably in an international company.
- Knowledge: Solid expertise in financial accounting according to HGB and IFRS.
- Software: Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with MS Dynamics is desirable.
- Language skills: Proficient in German and English (C1 level); Dutch is a plus.
- Personal skills: Strong affinity for numbers, structured working style, accuracy, reliability, and team spirit.
