Encavis AG is a leading independent electricity producer in renewable energies, focusing on solar and wind parks across Europe. We are committed to making renewable energy economically viable and are looking for a dedicated Commercial PPA Manager to join our Power Sales department in Hamburg.

Position Overview

As a key member of our team, you will manage and optimize existing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and support negotiations for new agreements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the renewable energy sector and gain cross-functional experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Development of New PPAs: Collaborate with PPA originators to prepare offers, pricing, and negotiate contract terms.
  2. Contract Management: Oversee existing PPAs ensuring compliance and performance.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with external partners and internal teams such as Legal, Finance, Operations, and Risk Management.
  4. Performance Reporting: Create reports to monitor contract performance using data analytics.
  5. Market Analysis: Contribute insights into market trends, pricing strategies, and risk assessment.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in energy trading, sales, or procurement, with focus on electricity.
  • Experience negotiating and assessing PPAs across different markets and technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with data reporting expertise.
  • Knowledge of European energy markets and wholesale electricity pricing drivers.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and at least one other European language.
