Project EOSC Beyond:

This project aims to enhance the European Open Science Cloud by creating a network of nodes providing services, resources, and data to European researchers. Join us to lead the development of a hub that facilitates access to cloud services across scientific domains.

Your Role:

• Collaborate with scientific communities to identify services for the German EOSC node
• Contribute to the design and architecture of the node
• Implement solutions to integrate software into the node
• Participate in project meetings, workshops, and conferences across Europe

About You:

• Master’s or PhD in computer science, physics, mathematics, or related fields
• Passionate about building infrastructure for scientific cloud services
• Knowledge of web technologies like REST APIs, OpenID Connect, web frameworks
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenStack, containers) is advantageous
• Team player with good communication skills in English and willingness to travel
• Experience in large-scale, geographically dispersed projects is a plus
