Responsibilities

• Implementing and overseeing the design process of photovoltaic systems
• Supervising and coordinating the internal engineering team and external consultants
• Analyzing customer technical requirements, preparing or consolidating clause-by-clause analysis, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements
• Preparing or reviewing technical specifications and supplier documents for procurement and detailed plant design
• Ensuring the local team works synergistically to meet deadlines, technical objectives, and budgets
• Providing technical support during PV plant budgeting, construction, or operation phases
• Supporting the selection of photovoltaic technologies (solar panels, inverters, storage systems, etc.)
• Optimizing plant performance, energy efficiency, and reducing costs
• Monitoring project progress from design to implementation
• Collaborating with procurement, sales, and legal divisions

Profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Registered in the Engineers register (Iscrizione Albo Ingegneri) with full signing authority for section A
• Several years of professional experience as a senior engineer in construction or consulting
• Knowledge of transmission/distribution industry, LV/MV electrical design for utility-scale PV sites, and electrical norms (e.g., CEI 0-16)
• Experience with PV site connection processes and stakeholder management (TSO/DNO)
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Nice to have: BESS technology and HV design experience
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Amper, PVSyst, PVCase, Proled)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, time management, and problem-solving skills
