Job Description:
What you'll do
  • Deploy the Global Hygiene Program within the Region, ensuring effective implementation of standards, processes, and microbiology technologies/methods.
  • Direct microbiology testing to ensure data accuracy and timely, confidential communication of results, including proficiency testing programs.
  • Lead and perform plant hygiene audits and microbiology laboratory audits.
  • Provide technical expertise in laboratory and operational microbiology to support hygiene incidents and develop hygiene standards for new product development.
  • Offer technical guidance and consultancy (FMEA) to project teams to ensure manufacturing processes and environments are microbiologically safe.
  • Design microbiological surveillance and sanitation programs for manufacturing sites.
  • Support root cause analysis and action plan development for microbiological non-conformities.
  • Provide scientifically-based recommendations to management regarding product dispositions and recalls of non-conforming products.
What makes you a good fit
  • University degree in Microbiology or related field (preferable).
  • At least 5 years of experience in microbiological laboratories and applied microbiology in factory environments.
  • Experience managing hygiene in multisite or regional setups is a plus.
  • Comfortable operating within a matrix management structure.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate teams and individuals.
  • Travel willingness of 50% to 80%.
