Role Overview

As an Analytics Engineer (m/f/d), you will be part of a team of embedded Data Analysts within the Operations department. Your role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product, and engineering teams to automate reporting on core operational aspects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work closely with Business Stakeholders, Product Managers, and Engineers to define requirements and logic for performance metrics of complex operations and events.
2. Build SQL models using dbt and BigQuery to make data accessible to stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with Data Platform, Data Science, and Analytics teams to develop the data warehouse infrastructure.
4. Find creative and optimal solutions to complex, often unstructured problems.

Qualifications

1. Strong SQL skills, preferably with Google BigQuery or similar, and experience in modeling large, complex datasets.
2. At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role.
3. Minimum 1 year experience using dbt for SQL modeling.
4. Experience with Looker or similar visualization tools, and proficiency in LookML.
5. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of leading high-impact projects.
