Be the catalyst in transforming procurement into a strategic, data-driven function with cutting-edge S2P processes, smart technologies, and real impact across the business - delivering long-term success and sustainability.

Tasks

1. Become the technological owner behind our procurement success – guide our Source-to-Pay (S2P) platform towards strategic effectiveness, operational efficiency, and technological leadership, and:
2. Lead and evolve our global S2P architecture in line with strategic goals and Lufthansa Group targets.
3. Guide and mentor module/application managers to ensure optimal, integrated system performance and efficient digital procurement.
4. Act as a key advisor to procurement teams, providing expert guidance and thought leadership.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous strategic and process improvements that deliver business value.
6. Monitor system performance, identify improvements, and implement efficiency initiatives.
7. Drive tech innovation by analyzing trends and selecting scalable ProcureTech solutions.
8. Own the S2P roadmap, aligning features with business needs and user expectations.

Requirements

You're a strategic procurement expert, passionate about digital transformation. You excel in process optimization, cost reduction, and driving efficiency in dynamic environments, including:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Extensive experience in S2P management and system implementation within complex, global matrix organizations
• Deep expertise in platforms such as SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa, Jaggaer, or similar
• Profound knowledge in global procurement management, covering strategic, tactical, and operational aspects
• Analytical mindset with a keen interest in emerging technologies (AI, ML, Blockchain, RPA, IoT, etc.)
• Fluency in German and English
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive mindset and native ability to influence stakeholders and drive innovation
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional S2P projects and delivering continuous improvements in procurement management
