Qualifikationen

Abbott Transfusion Medicine, Abbott GmbH in Wiesbaden is looking for a Finance Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

The Opportunity

The Finance Manager will lead all FP&A activities in EMEA region including LBE submissions, monthly sales and profitability reporting as well as providing Commercial Support to Business partners in the region.

This position is ultimately responsible for establishing, developing, and implementing appropriate processes and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and planning information, while also providing efficient and effective decision support to Regional Managing Directors and Divisional Vice President.

Activities

• Lead the preparation of EMEA financial plans and latest best estimate (LBE) revisions, as well as, analyze monthly results, monitor and control the financial performance of the regions
• Ensure availability of high-quality P&L, capital expenditures and sales forecast.
• Analyze performance against appropriate benchmarks, as well as, historical trends.
• Proactively manage customer DSO and DOH together with sales executives.
• Financial expertise in evaluating and identifying the key issues and gaps in business performance and emerging business needs, deliver analyses that provides a foundation for management understanding and establishing action.
• Interact with non-finance departments in order to create action plans to guarantee achievement of strategy and profitability targets.
• Challenge sales executives and service leads on the forecast provided.
• Develop metrics and reports to identify activity level for monthly review with management to address performance as well as cost and spending drivers.
• Provide business decision support as required, including meaningful, value-added profitability analyses for new product launches, promotional programs, instrument placements, major customer, service equipment analysis, distribution channels, countries, Areas, and/or product lines to influence and counsel management in developing business and pricing strategies.
• Provide the necessary support to financial audits.
• Facilitate and ensure the compliance with procedures, controls & policies.
• Perform all activities respecting the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.

Minimum Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in finance.
• Master degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of principles, processes and standards of financial planning, accounting (local and corporate), analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of Power BI and automation tools.
• Experience working with business leaders (MD, DVP, etc)
• Team player, self-driven, creative and ethical professional with strong communication skills.
• Pos-graduation / MBA or CIMA is a plus.
