ZEISS, a leading supplier of optical and optoelectronic technologies, is bundling units outside the divisions in the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit that offer customers a wide range of technologies in highly specialized markets around the world: mobile imaging including photo, hunting & nature, cinematography, microoptics, spectroscopy, planetariums and simulation projection solutions.
Your role
- Acquire a deep market understanding in the segment of mobile imaging (smartphones) in terms of key markets, customers and competition to develop strategic communication concepts for all touchpoints (digital, POS, trade show etc.), brand key messages and create added value on all levels of communication within our brand partnerships.
- Align editorial plans and claims with our partners to elaborate joint co-marketing plans, provide and develop different multi-media content with internal sources and agencies, and position the ZEISS Brand in all relevant advertising materials and campaigns under assurance of compliance with the ZEISS Brand Guideline.
- Participate in the implementation of various marketing projects with our partners worldwide on an operational level (e.g., organizing master classes, participating in media events, handling sample photo shootings, etc.).
- Take responsibility for planning, organizing, and executing events (especially at ZEISS headquarters in Oberkochen, Germany) that effectively communicate the organization's message and objectives.
- Ensure brand quality and secure brand compliance for international co-marketing campaign execution. Brand and communication alignments with our partners are daily business.
- Track performance of co-marketing efforts through monitoring and evaluating activities concerning operational excellence and increase in brand value.
- Bring in your own ideas and work together with our international colleagues on existing and potential new partnerships, focusing on China as a growth market.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in communication, business administration, or a similar subject with a strong focus on marketing; Master's degree is welcome.
- Strong work experience in brand management, marketing, or communications with a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns, preferably in the consumer product industry (knowledge in optics and photography is a plus).
- Ability to manage international partnerships and work effectively in a global environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as an independent, well-structured, and goal-oriented working style to meet project deadlines, budgets, and quality objectives.
- Proficient knowledge of business English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally (e.g., India or China) up to 10% of the time.
