Qualifikationen

  • Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder Studium mit Schwerpunkt Chemie.
  • Erfahrung in Verkauf und Logistik, idealerweise im internationalen Handel.

(Junior) Sales Manager in Chemical Distribution (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • As part of our sales team in Hamburg, you support in developing and maintaining our international business in distribution of chemical raw materials
  • Thereby, you support expanding and managing our client relationships both commercially and technically through regular contact
  • This includes negotiating, offer calculating and creating, managing sampling and product exports and technical support to building long-term collaborations with our customers and develop them further
  • By identifying new markets and monitoring market developments, you identify new and promising suppliers and products as well as sales opportunities
  • Based on your analysis, you set targets for new business development, implement strategies for profitable sales growth and expand/develop our product portfolio
  • Furthermore, you support on additional tasks and projects such as the creation of detailed market overviews and customer databases, qualifying and managing incoming supplier and customer requests, etc.

Your profile:

  • You successfully finished your commercial education as an industrial, freight forwarding or foreign trade clerk (“Industriekaufmann”, “Speditionskaufmann” or “Außenhandelskaufmann”), preferably in the chemical industry
  • Alternatively, you successfully finished your university education with a focus on chemistry, chemical engineering, sales, logistics or comparable
  • Furthermore, you gained experiences in sales and logistics, preferably in international trading
  • Thereby, you gained affinity for taxes, Incoterms and export modalities
    In addition, you are eager to learn, question the status quo and search for new ways for improvement
  • You are characterized by a profound customer and solution orientation as well as a high degree of initiative, reliability and commitment through which you build strong, trustful relationships
  • Additionally, are a strong communicator in written and spoken English as well as German with the ability to communicate in a target group-oriented manner
