Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager (all genders) to drive sales growth in our pulp & paper segment in Germany North, covering areas north of Dortmund and Dresden. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales within the pulp and paper industry in the region and leadership skills. Based in Northern Germany, you will report directly to the Sr Sales Manager, Pulp & Paper, Germany and Switzerland.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the sales of chemicals to pulp and paper mills in Germany, with full responsibility for revenue and profit margins
  • Leading a team of sales staff and working directly with customers in your area
  • Maintaining and developing existing customer relationships and acquiring new clients
  • Evaluating sales opportunities technically and commercially
  • Monitoring market trends and observations
  • Maintaining and administrating the CRM system
  • Coordinating projects within an international team of application experts

Qualifications:

  • University degree or relevant experience in business, sales & marketing, chemistry, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of successful B2B sales experience in paper chemicals
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and business growth
  • Leadership desire with experience managing teams in an international environment
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%
