Responsibilities
- As a Operations Engineer, you are responsible for developing, designing, and monitoring production processes in shipbuilding, including their optimization.
- You ensure machine availability and initiate measures in case of malfunctions.
- You support management in implementing modernization projects.
- Along with interface partners, you develop technical solutions to improve work safety and machine performance.
- You act as a contact for engineering solutions related to technical details in your production environment.
- You prepare and accompany internal and external audits.
- You assist the supervisor in topics such as occupational safety, cost optimization, quality assurance, and reducing throughput times.
Profile
- You have a completed technical or university degree in shipbuilding or comparable qualifications, such as a welding engineer.
- Several years of professional experience in steel construction/shipbuilding or similar are required.
- Process knowledge regarding lean management is desirable.
- Technical proficiency in the listed activities is expected.
- Good German and English skills are required.
- Initiative, creativity, independence, and enjoyment of teamwork complete your profile.
