Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a Team Lead Finance (m / f / d).
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all SAP platforms across the globe in SAP Finance, analysts & consultants, production support, program management, and maintenance.
- Set up and centralize production support, including L2 / 3, ongoing maintenance of SAP platforms, operational stability of SAP platforms.
- Manage non-SAP applications that are part of the financial supply chain process.
- Provide resources to execute large-scale programs, including M&A integration. Partner with business and peers for both functional and technical requirements, translating them into the product roadmap. Build and prioritize SAP feature backlog; leverage waterfall and agile disciplines in SAP deployments, manage project status updates, and change communication.
- Partner with internal audit and security teams on compliance tasks, developing and documenting SAP configuration and implementation.
- Communicate effectively across organization levels, presenting to IT and business leadership teams on technical deliveries and business impacts.
- Manage SAP development budget and costs within the respective IT team.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative culture among the team based on respect and trust.
- Demonstrate proven experience in delivering successful programs, a strong sense of ownership, and a passion for defining and driving improvement and development programs.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations, Behavioral Science, or related fields. 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a management position in an international environment, and 5 years managing SAP deployment.
- Strategic thinker who is business-centric and customer-focused, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Clear thinker capable of understanding system and data flows in SAP Finance, identifying business/user impacts, data flow, process flow, and mitigating risks and resourcing needs.
- Proven success leading and delivering large SAP transformation programs.
- Good IT technical background with willingness to learn non-SAP Finance application topics.
- Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience working across different cultures and awareness of cultural differences.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Good influencing and communication skills.
- Strong operational and execution track record.
- Self-starter, proactive, and collaborative.
- Experience with agile methodologies and ITIL service operations.
- Experience in people management, inspiring, and motivating team members.
- SAP S/4HANA experience is preferred.
