We are looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated IT Specialists to support EUCOM’s mission objectives.

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed Knowledge Management Engineer. This position supports a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM, located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.

The Knowledge Management Engineer (KME) will work with EUCOM’s Information Superiority Knowledge Management team in support of the Chief of Staff office, executing process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include managing EUCOM’s collaboration sites, maintaining SharePoint portals, conducting process mapping, data analysis, and developing KM strategies and plans. The role involves contributing to the management of EUCOM deliverables, developing client-ready products, and applying industry best practices in knowledge management and business process management.

More About the Role:

The KME should be able to:

  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, lists, permission sets, forms, and customizations supporting customer requirements.
  • Design, build, and sustain SharePoint Power Applications and workflows.
  • Develop Power BI reports to support organizational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, develop business case analyses, and recommend solutions.
  • Design and conduct training on process mapping, data collection, and knowledge management techniques.
  • Work with customers to identify data sources and define data integration goals.
  • Define and implement improvement projects in coordination with the KM solutions team.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint (2016, 2019, and Online), Office Suite, and Visio. 5+ years of experience in a Business Process Analyst/Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with SharePoint Administration, including site collection management, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Educational qualifications: BA/BS + 5 years recent experience, or AA/AS + 7 years, or equivalent certifications and experience.
  • Experience with workflow design applications (e.g., SharePoint Designer, Nintex Workflow).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience with Knowledge Management or business process mapping in a military environment.
  • Experience working in a military or joint command environment, with knowledge of operational planning a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with business process methodologies like Lean Six Sigma.
  • Must possess AIT Level II certification(s) per DoD 8570.1.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to meet TESA requirements.
  • Knowledge of KM and Business Process Engineering best practices.
  • Proven professional judgment and effective communication with senior military leaders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt quickly in a high-paced environment.
  • Experience with complex technology solutions and systems implementation.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications or knowledge in industry-wide KM, business analysis frameworks (PMP, Lean/DFSS, DMAIC).
  • Experience in an AGILE development environment.
  • Active participation in KM professional communities.
