About the Role

As a Marketing Specialist (m/f/d), you will be part of the MML Marketing team as well as the Corporate team and will provide marketing support to the group by organizing marketing activities, communications, and events regionally.

Your Responsibilities

1. Coordinate all aspects of external events including customer, technology, and trade shows, conferences, customer visits, etc. This includes display properties, presentations, materials, etc.
2. Develop product marketing content (messaging, videos, presentations).
3. Evaluate and implement creative and innovative methods of presenting Magna and its portfolio to customers and the public, considering keyword strategy and external comprehensibility.
4. Promote and further develop the professional global image of the company by supporting global marketing and communication initiatives.
5. Assist with planning, coordination, and budgeting of various events for Europe, managing them from initial kick-off to execution and post-event reporting.
6. Liaise with internal and external teams and vendors to ensure high quality and effectiveness throughout all event-related activities.
7. Under the guidance of marketing management, create, coordinate, and provide input for internal and external sales & marketing presentations.
8. Interact with the marketing team to ensure effective implementation of communication/messages (advertising, website, technology shows, etc.) consistent with group identity.

Who we are looking for

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. 2-3 years’ experience with event marketing and communications.
3. Automotive industry experience is preferred.
4. Experience in SharePoint is a plus.
5. Graphic design experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator is a plus.
6. Strong communication skills in German and English: verbal, written, and in technical presentations.
7. Creative and detail-oriented.
8. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
9. Technical understanding and interest in familiarizing yourself with new topics.
