We are seeking to expand our scientific expertise with a Team Lead Phys-Chem and Analytics (m/f/d) - Agriculture Regulatory & Scientific Affairs.
What you can expect
- Lead a team of 3 scientists within a department of over 60 professionals across various life science disciplines.
- Plan work, review documents, and train team members.
- Prepare data gap analyses and dossiers (EU, US, Japan requirements) for plant protection products and active substances (chemical and microbial), focusing on identity, physical-chemical properties, and analytical methods.
- Ensure technical equivalence of active substances and prepare dossiers for technical equivalence.
- Design and monitor studies on identity (including 5 batch analyses), physical-chemical properties, and analytical methods, collaborating with national and international contract laboratories.
- Provide regulatory support, develop registration strategies, and prepare expert statements.
What you offer
- A science degree, preferably in chemistry or food chemistry, with a PhD.
- Several years of solid experience in chemical analysis, ideally with practical application.
- Extensive professional experience in regulatory affairs, focusing on plant protection within the EU.
- Ability to effectively tackle and coordinate complex analytical issues.
- Proven team leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in German and English.
